KITCHEN
BANDS
Anything can become an instrument when you use a little imagination.
Today we created a kitchen band using a variety of pots, pans and
utensils. By making noise with a variety of instruments, children could
make comparisons and hear us use descriptive language to talk about the
noises. |

PAINTING
EXPERIMENTS: UTENSILS
Painting for young children is more than just an opportunity for art -
it is a chance to experiment, investigate, and explore. Children are
experimented with cause and effect as they painted on different
surfaces. As children use different tools and paints, they can see how
each interacts with the materials they are painting on. Today, children
painted using utensils |

READING
ANIMAL BOOKS:
As we read with children in small groups and individually, we introduce
children to new vocabulary and boost language comprehension by reading
the words and talking about what we see in the illustrations. |
